CANDY COLORS.....

As much as I want to consider myself a neutral person, I'm a color girl at heart and as much as I try to be an economical person, I always gravitate to Schumacher fabrics. 9 out of 10 times if I'm pulling a fabric for a client I end up falling in love with the most expensive Schumacher fabric I can find. I just can't help it. They are just so yummy and gorgeous and I want to drool ALL OVER THEM!

1. SANTORINI - MARINE 2. TEMPLE GARDEN - APPLETINI 3. TRELLIS - WATERMELON 4. FIREWORKS - MANDARIN 5. GIRAFFE LINEN - THISTLE/IVORY 6. GLACIER FRET - MINERAL 7.BEAUTY BARK - LAGUNA 8.IMPERIAL TRELLIS II - IVORY/MANDARIN 9. RIC RAC - CANDY 10. SALLY SUN - SUN

Letterpress Love

My sweet friend Elizabeth sent me a link for a letterpress company the other day that was awesome and  affordable. Most letterpress companies are so expensive that it was a bit refreshing to find a company that just had great graphics and didn't make you choke with sticker shock. I totally love doing my own graphics, but when I get married I would much rather just pick a design out and call it a day. Less things to stress about and more money for the band and libations. Woo Woo!

Below are my top 3 favorite letterpress companies at the moment.
If you know of any good ones let me know!

Also...Love to Amanda Eubanks for being the first to follow my blog and leave comments! xoxo

Welcome to Interior Confections....

There have always been two passions that have ruled my life. In no specific order the first is interior design and the second is cooking.  I had two paths in life…. to become a great interior designer or become the next Paula Dean butter and all. After burning my arms with hot oil a couple of times and dropping a butcher knife on my foot, my life vision became a little clearer. You can call them accidents but I like to consider it a little divine intervention.
So instead of being your next food network star I have decided to become a chef of design. I am now an interior design graduate from Auburn University and working on the big task of getting my NCIDQ license (woof). Although my life isn't dedicated to making yummy treats in the kitchen (too busy!) the name Interior Confections did come from the combination of my two favorite things…interior design and cooking confections. I honestly do believe that great design is so good you want to devour it and eat it up!
Interior Confections will mostly be a little interior design blog but I totally have plans to throw a few recipes in here and there for you! It just wouldn't be me not to! My hope is that Interior Confections will be just the beginning to a long, fulfilling, and successful interior design career…….
…….But hey you never know….In the end I may just wind up a Food Network Star.
